Therapeutic Massage Therapy

A massage therapist is responsible for guiding clients through service offerings while helping them choose the types of massages they would benefit them the most. Massage therapists perform massages in a manner that prevents injuries to their own wrists and other parts of their body as well as the guests. Additionally, a massage therapist obtains a detailed history from clients, including information about any injuries or conditions, such as diabetes. Massage therapists can work in a variety of settings including spas, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers.

As a Massage Therapist, you can expect to:

  • Evaluate clients' soft tissue condition, joint quality and function, muscle strength, and range of motion
  • Develop and propose client treatment plans that specify which types of massage are to be used
  • Consult with clients about their medical histories and any problems with stress and/or pain in order to determine whether massage would be helpful
  • Massage and knead the muscles and soft tissues of the human body in order to provide treatment for medical conditions, injuries or wellness maintenance
  • Prepare and blend oils, and apply the blends to clients' skin
  • Discuss with other health care professionals such as physiotherapists, chiropractors, physicians, and psychologists in order to develop treatment plans for clients
  • Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records of clients
  • Attend and participate in meetings and training sessions

Payment Plan Options

General Parameters

  1. The minimum down payment for 2025 is $1500 but the more you put down, the less the finance fee and monthly payments will be
  2. The lowest monthly payment is $99 (depending on down payment and length of plan)
  3. The term is for this program is 36 months (3 years) but if you make payments that are larger than your minimum due, your loan will end sooner and you will save money on interest!
  4. At least half the tuition must be paid to graduate and get a certificate
  5. The lower your down payment and/or monthly payment, the longer the term - however the term cannot exceed 36 months so either the down payment or monthly payment has to be higher to meet the above requirements
  6. There is a finance fee on the amount you are financing so the larger the down payment, the lower the finance fee
  7. There is interest on the unpaid balance so the sooner you pay off your loan, the less interest you will pay - just like any loan
  8. The more you put down and the quicker you pay, the less money you will spend in the long run
  9. Most popular, least expensive option is to pay in full before 1st class and receive a $1500 discount off tuition
