2. The Team

The faculty is made up of highly qualified and experienced clinicians and educators. These are not folks who recently graduated and are teaching skills they have never done. The Course Coordinators and Lead Instructors are made up of highly skilled Nurses and Paramedics and other professionals who are actively practicing in the clinical setting.

3. The Price

Quality education is not cheap and Cheap education usually results in buyer’s remorse. Our programs are lower in cost than most programs in the area but at the same time provide students with the resources one would expect at expensive colleges. If you need to withdraw for any reason, you may return and repeat the course for a 25% discount – we don’t know any school that offers that.

4. The Facility

Our facility uses the latest technology to enhance education and provides a comfortable, professional atmosphere in which to learn with small class sizes to encourage participation by all and personal attention to each student. Centrally located in Rhode Island, our facility is easily accessible from anywhere in the state.

5. The Convenience of In-House National and State Testing

That’s right. 911PROGRAMS is the only EMS school in Rhode Island which offers the NREMT National Written Exam on-site. As a Pearson Vue Authorized Testing Site, our students can take their national NREMT exam right where they took their course – without waiting weeks or months for other Pearson sites to have availability. Additionally, 911Programs is authorized by the State of Rhode Island to conduct EMT Practical testing as well which satisfies the National and State practical testing requirements.

6. The Reputation

The vast majority of our EMT students are referred to us by previous students. There is no greater honor than for a former student to recommend our program to their family and friends. Read some of the testimonials above to learn more about what they think of the program here and what we have done to help them succeed. You will find our graduates in nearly every fire/rescue department and ambulance service in the state. Our graduates include fire chiefs, captains, lieutenants, doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners, and even ambulance company owners and EMS educators who all started their career right here.

7. The Guarantee

If you pass this course and are unable to pass the NREMT exam after exhausting all attempts within the allotted time frame, we will refund 100% of your tuition. See Refund Policy for further details. After more than 50 courses, not one student who followed the time frame guidelines has ever failed to pass the NREMT exam.
