We are an authorized American Heart Association Training Site.

Our courses comply with the AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider standards. CPR students may attend regularly scheduled courses or do a portion online and come into the school for skills testing. For more information on this option call the school at 401-773-7716. ACLS and PALS students require more notice to book sessions.

Corporate Clients: Corporate rate applies to class sizes of 10 or more students and class is done at our site. The off-site fee to provide CPR, ACLS, or PALS at your facility is $100.

Course Descriptions

CPR $65

  • The classroom portion takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours followed by a skills session and testing.

ACLS and PALS Initial $300, Recert $250, Skills only* $150

  • Full length in-person classes are run infrequently.
  • To certify or recertify, students will attend a virtual (online) session followed by a skills / testing session. Online sessions use the AHA virtual patient simulator which can be accessed 24/7. Students then book a skills session which takes about 2-3
    hours.
  • * Skills-only sessions are available for students who completed the didactic or virtual session elsewhere.

  • Recognizing signs and symptoms of heart attack and stroke
  • 1 and 2 person basic life support (CPR) for adults, children, infants
  • Use of an automatic external defibrillator
  • Use of bag-valve-mask resuscitator and pocket mask
  • Adult, child, and infant choking

ACLS and PALS Topics

  • Advanced assessment and High quality BLS
  • Airway management
  • Rhythm recognition
  • Manual defibrillation, cardioversion, and transcutaneous pacing
  • IV and IO access
  • Use of medications
  • Understanding ETCO2 in pre-arrest, arrest, and post-arrest
  • High performance teams
Certificate Information Expand

Upon course completion, student information is sent to American Heart Association. Students will receive an e-card by email in approximately 2 business days.
